A new non-profit, The Flexibility Alliance, promotes workplace flexibility. It provides resources for employers as well as working parents.

Key flexibility stats:

  • 60% (nearly) of women in one study would have left their jobs without the opportunity to work flexibly.
  • 53% of the women in the same study were promoted while working flexibly
  • Managers and employees report that workplace flexibility has a positive impact on productivity, quality of work, and retention:
